It’s that magical time of year again — when parking lots across San Diego transform into mini haunted villages.
Decorated trunks. Candy everywhere. Kids in costumes sprinting from one booth to the next, laughter echoing under twinkling lights.
And for us at The Repair Tech Inc., Trunk-or-Treat isn’t just a fun Halloween event — it’s tradition.
This was our fourth year showing up, decorating, handing out treats, and celebrating side by side with families from every corner of the county.
Every year we meet new faces, reconnect with families who say “We’ve used you before — we loved your techs!” and watch our community come alive with laughter.
 Why Trunk-or-Treat Is So Special
Why Trunk-or-Treat Is So Special
Trunk-or-Treat started in the 1990s as a safe, family-friendly alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating.
It’s community over chaos.
Safety over stress.
And for families with kids who have sensory sensitivities or special needs — it’s inclusion in motion.
It’s predictable, accessible, and joyful.
You can see your kids smiling without worry. You can relax, talk with neighbors, and let them have fun in a controlled environment.
As a special-needs mom, these events mean everything.
Our 2025 Line-Up (and Then Some!)
This year’s calendar was packed — and our team was everywhere.
Here’s where you might’ve spotted our decorated trunks, our candy baskets, and our big Repair Tech smiles:

Always a crowd-pleaser, blending service and smiles.

Huge turnout every year! Families come from all over the coast to join the fun.

Valley Parkway Church Fall Fest – Escondido
So much heart, so much fun, and an amazing sense of community.
North County Family Events & City Pop-Ups
We’ve joined several pop-up events through city rec departments and nonprofits — spreading candy and kindness county-wide!
That’s over 20 events across San Diego County — and every single one filled our hearts (and our candy bins).

The Best Part: The People
It’s not just about the sugar rush — it’s about connection.
Every “Thank you,” every “We’ve used you before,” every familiar face reminds us why we do this.
As a woman-owned, family-run business, we don’t just show up for installs and repairs — we show up for people.
Because the families who call us for service are the same ones we see at these events — laughing with their kids, chatting about their homes, and reminding us what community really means.
Trunk-or-Treats and the Special-Needs Community
Traditional trick-or-treating can be overwhelming — crowded sidewalks, flashing lights, loud surprises.
But Trunk-or-Treats? They’re calmer, predictable, and inclusive.
Families like ours — with children who have asthma, autism, ADHD, or sensory sensitivities — can finally breathe easy, knowing the event was built with them in mind.
No judgment. No rush. Just smiles, space, and sweet memories.
That’s what makes these events so important to us personally — and why The Repair Tech keeps showing up year after year.
Why We’ll Keep Doing It
Because HVAC and appliances may be our trade, but heart is our brand.
Because HVAC and appliances may be our trade, but heart is our brand.
We believe comfort doesn’t stop at the thermostat — it extends into every space our community gathers.
These events remind us that our job isn’t just fixing homes — it’s keeping families connected, safe, and supported, both inside and outside their walls.
So, from one neighbor to another:
Thank you for letting us be part of your community.
Thank you for stopping by, saying hi, and trusting us to keep your homes running and your holidays full of joy.
We’ll see you next October — same smiles, bigger candy bowls, and maybe a few more ghosts in our trunk décor
