Ten years ago, The Repair Tech wasn’t even “The Repair Tech” yet. It was just me — a mom at home, raising babies, hustling behind the scenes, and dreaming that maybe, just maybe, we could turn this into something bigger.

Fast forward to this September: I stood outside our brand-new office in Escondido, surrounded by family, friends, employees, and community partners, watching the ribbon fall. And let me tell you — it hit me hard.

This wasn’t just about scissors and ribbon. It was about grit, faith, and heart coming full circle. It was about proving that with people in your corner, you can build something out of nothing.

We didn’t do this alone — we’ve never done this alone. This ribbon cutting was more like a family reunion of everyone who’s helped us along the way:

Best Pizza & Brew – We’ve proudly serviced all your locations, and celebrating with Joey and your team catering the event was the perfect full-circle moment. Clients and partners becoming family — that’s the good stuff.

Rufina with Docha Balloons – You didn’t just bring balloons, you

 brought vibes. You turned a parking lot into a party, and it was pure magic.

Vanessa with 360V – That photo booth? Legendary.You didn’t just capture memories — you gave us a whole lot of laughs and moments we’ll keep forever.

Jaqueline Espinoza with Pastel Mama – You’ve been a client, a friend, and let’s be real, the best pastry maker ever. Those desserts were as sweet as your heart.

The Chambers of Commerce – Solana Beach, Fallbrook, Carlsbad, Poway, and Escondido Chambers all showed up to stand with us. That’s not just support — that’s community in action.

Why This Ribbon Cutting Meant So Much

This leap from home office to “real” office wasn’t just a business move. It was a dream finally realized.

We didn’t get here with flashy ads or corporate gimmicks. We grew because people trusted us. Because they said:
“I trust you. What would you do? Just get it done.”

That trust? It’s priceless. It’s the reason we’re here. And every time I hear those words, my heart fills with joy — sometimes enough to make me cry.

10 Years and Just Getting Started

This ribbon cutting also marked another milestone: 10 years in business.

Ten years of learning, growing, laughing, crying, doubting, and proving again and again that this isn’t just a job — it’s a legacy.

A legacy for my kids, for our family, for our community, and for everyone who trusts us with their homes and businesses.

And the truth? We’re still just getting started.

Because if the last 10 years have taught me anything, it’s this: when you mix hard work with community, faith, and a whole lot of heart… the sky isn’t even the limit.
